2017 Coaching Staff

Head Coach
Rafa Rodriguez

From Botucatu, Brazil, Rafa made his way to Union University.  Following school he developed an extensive coaching background and in 2016 became the 1st Assistant for Memphis City.

“I am very grateful to Memphis City for this opportunity as well as previous head coach Chris Harrington, who served as a tremendous mentor and friend.  Memphis has some of the best soccer fans in the country, and I look forward to giving them the best team to support in 2017!!!”

Rafa Rodriguez

Born and raised in Botucatu, Brazil, Rafa developed into a very strong player.  Just prior to high school, his family moved to the US where he excelled on the field.  Following school he developed an extensive coaching background and in 2016 became the 1st Assistant for Memphis City.

Rafa is the Technical Director for DC Galaxy (Southaven, MS),  and owner of Futsal Escola which is the only local futsal club.

Jamscek “Stan” Stanislav

Born and raised in Indjija, Serbia, Stan attended the University of Sport and Management in Novi Sad where he earned a degree in coaching soccer.  Following USM, he pursued a business degree at Mid-Continent University in Mayfield, Kentucky on a soccer scholarship.  Stan then went on to earn his Masters of Education at Bethel University where he’s now a full time assistant for the women’s soccer team.
Stan and his wife reside in Jackson, TN and recently had a son.

2017 Coaching Staff

Technical Director: Chris Kranjc

Coach Kranjc now is the head coach at University of Alabama at Hunstville starting this year.
Chris spent 17 years creating an amazing resume at NAIA power Hastings College in Nebraska. He compiled an extremely impressive record of  297 wins, 67 losses, 21 draws.  His crowning achievement came in 2010 when he guided his team to the NAIA national championship, and he earned the NSCAA’s NAIA National Coach of the Year award.

Kranjc is a native of Omaha, Nebraska, and he is married with three children.
